STAINLESS-STEEL 7 X 19

Stainless Steel 7×19 wire rope is a highly flexible construction consisting of seven strands, each made up of nineteen individual wires.

This configuration provides excellent handling characteristics, allowing the rope to bend easily around sheaves, drums, and pulleys without compromising performance. Compared to stiffer constructions, 7×19 offers superior flexibility and fatigue resistance, making it ideal for applications involving repeated movement and dynamic loading.

Manufactured from marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel, 7×19 wire rope delivers strong resistance to corrosion in harsh marine and outdoor environments. Its design distributes stress across a high number of smaller wires, improving durability under cyclic use. While it is not intended for high-rigidity or structural applications, it is widely regarded as a dependable and practical solution where flexibility, ease of handling, and long service life are key requirements. In-house swaging and splicing services are available, allowing for customised lengths and terminations to suit specific project requirements.
