ANCHOR SWIVEL FORERUNNER

The Swivel Forerunner is a chain connector installed between the anchor and anchor chain, incorporating an integrated swivel to reduce torsional loading and minimise chain twist during deployment and recovery.

Manufactured to ISO-equivalent dimensions and classification society requirements, it comprises an anchor-side end link suitable for D-shackle connection, combined with a chain-compatible side and integrated swivel. Available in U2 and U3 grades, with hot-dip galvanised or painted finishes, Swivel Forerunners are supplied with LR (Lloyd’s Register) or DNV certification available to suit common anchor chain configurations.
